1901年、聖路加国際病院を開設したルドルフ・Bトイスラーは、
1920年、日本の看護の水準を高めるため、
聖路加国際病院附属高等看護婦学校を設立しました。
本学は高等看護教育のパイオニアとして、常に先進的で最高レベルの看護を追及してきました。

2014年、聖路加国際大学として新たなステージを迎えた本学は、
教育―研究―実践の融合を実現し、
主な実習病院は隣接する聖路加国際病院、そして築地・銀座近隣という好立地のもと、
国内外の看護保健に貢献する人材を育成していきます。

Dr.Rudolf Bolling Teusler, who founded St.Luke's Hospital in Tokyo in 1901,
opened the High Grade Nurse Training School attached to St.Luke's International Hospital in 1920 based on his vision to improve the quality of standard nursing practice in Japan.
This institution has taken a pioneering role in advancing the level of nursing in the country.
From 2014 we have now entered a new stage as St.Luke's International University,
as we continue our mission of nurturing human resources who can contribute and make a difference to nursing health care in Japan, as well as abroad.
